Ingredients

Where have you bean all my life??

  • 400g can of black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 100g quick oats
  • 1 1/2 tbsp apple puree
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp of lime juice
  • Extra virgin olive oil (for cooking)

Steps

  1. Mash beans until mushy but leave some chunky bits to add texture. Add all other ingredients and mix.
  2. Split mixture into 4 and form burger shapes.
  3. Lightly shallow fry in oil until browned on each side.
  4. Serve with salad or vegetables.
